Sometimes it concerns me just how much I long for an era I've never experienced. How can it be possible to feel disjointed from my own present? Considering the lack of time machines or abilities for temporal shifts, human instinct should be to feel most at home in the present. Or, at the most, feel nostalgic for your own past.
